Key Account Manager for a leading manufacturer based in Manchester.

Your new company
One of Europe's leading manufacturer's based in Manchester. A leading supplier of household and professional cleaning/hygiene products for Europe's largest and most successful retailers as well as producing own brand products.

Your new role

As a Key Account Manager you will take ownership of the achievement of the company's key commercial objectives, you will lead the customer account team and take a bespoke approach based on each customer's requirements, ensuring that both immediate team members and wider stakeholders within the business are fully aligned to this at all times. You will ensure forecast accuracy is in line with account targets and working in collaboration with the demand planner to implement necessary changes. You will lead the construction and communication of the annual business plan, ensuring that this accurately reflects the specific requirements of each customer.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be of graduate calibre, have a high level of numeracy and literacy with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a commercial role, preferably within FMCG. You will have experience of leading a team and working with manufacturing, supply chain and marketing. You will be able to independently develop compelling fact based business proposals and be a capable negotiator reaching effective conclusions within agreed parameters. You will be able to regularly act with speed, agility and confidence.
