This role has specific responsibility for executing and supporting marketing campaigns and sales activities for our client in Godalming.

As the Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for providing general marketing support for the company’s German business, including creating and executing a range of activities focused on customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation – across both offline and online channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, build and execute email campaigns to deadline, including content and assets – ensuring associated, relevant and timely messaging across social media channels.
  • Manage automated email programmes to ensure they run smoothly including monthly/quarterly reporting. Working with the team to identify and implement improvements.
  • Work with the wider marketing team and local sales team to identify, plan and execute specific campaigns to increase sales performance of product categories and ranges.
  • Provide marketing support and execution for specific campaigns and sales activities to generate traffic, enquiries, leads and customers.
  • To work closely with the Sales team to ensure sales follow-up, outbound and other activities receive the appropriate marketing input and support including performance reporting.
  • Manage social media accounts, creating and posting content and campaigns to drive followers and engagement.
  • Research new ideas and competitor activity to constantly develop and improve marketing.
  • Create digital assets to support campaigns, and for use on the website, in email campaigns and across social media.
  • Ensure there is consistency in look and feel of all content created, in line with brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Support PPC specialist on the ongoing optimisation of paid ad activities across search and social channels.
  • Ensure product content is optimised for search, include SEO meta data and descriptive content to boost rankings.
  • Action recommendations for content improvement, identifying strong keywords for campaigns and monitoring competitor behaviour and content.
  • Maintain and update our websites to ensure marketing assets, product and marketing content is up-to-date, accurate, regularly refreshed and optimised for search.
  • Manage and execute web content plan to ensure product and marketing content (promotional landing pages, FAQs, advice articles, blog articles, and product content) is created and uploaded to the site to deadline.
  • Review website performance and participate in discussions and activities to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Execute regular website reviews and undertake housekeeping tasks to ensure web content is regularly refresh and up-to-date tasks.
  • Ensure new products are launched in accordance to go-live dates, including the creation and launch of associated assets, across all channels.
  • Operational management of products for marketing purposes, including information and assets in the Product Information Management system and on the website.
  • Create, execute and report on marketing and sales activity for online only-brand, working to build traffic, conversions and buyers.
  • Manage Amazon listings, content and paid advertising, to boost sales and revenue returns.
  • Identify and create all marketing support materials in both print and digital format.

Experience and Skills Requirements:

  • German mother tongue with excellent written and spoken language skills.
  • High levels of fluency for spoken and written English.
  • Strong organisational skills, demonstrating effective time and workload management.
  • Ability to priories and work to tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention-to-detail.
  • Clear, concise and professional verbal/written communication skills.
  • Understanding of marketing channels and processes.
  • Analytical mindset with a good understanding of and comfortable working with data.
  • Personal style and behaviour.
  • Approachable, adaptable, flexible and responsive.
  • A can-do attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team, delivering to tight deadlines.
  • A genuine interest and passion for marketing.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, keen to learn and develop.
  • Minimum 12-18 months experience within marketing, ideally within a B2B environment.
  • Knowledge or understanding of KPIs and performance data.
  • Ideally, experience of social advertising, Google Ads and Analytics.
