Marketing Executive B2B

VMA is working for one of the UK’s most well recognised insurance brands who currently have a vacancy for a B2B marketing exec. The role is to work across the wider B2B marketing team helping devise and deliver on national campaigns to increase the profile of this business products. This is a very exciting role and ideal for candidate looking to grow and develop their own marketing experience with a “best-in-class” marketing team.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive B2B:

  • Help create, plan and execute on-going B2B marketing initiatives in accordance with the agreed Sales & Marketing Plan. Communicate marketing activity plans and performance to relevant stakeholders, ensuring appropriate support and response management.
  • Produce marketing, communications and product materials and content for use in marketing campaigns and activity for the Life business.
  • Effectively manage key relationships with all relevant internal and external parties (including agencies and affiliates), for the purposes of implementing marketing activities and campaigns with required reputational and commercial impact.
  • Conduct activity and campaign evaluation. Pro-actively identify ways to improve activity effectiveness in terms of cost management, response generation and conversion.
  • Demonstrate a keen awareness of emerging marketing practices, competitor activity and distribution dynamics in the industry, producing regular reports on our competitive marketing positioning

Person specification for the Marketing Executive B2B:

  • Proactive marketer with strong experience (relevant marketing experience, ideally within the IFA or life and pensions markets)
  • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter, able to think laterally and a good problem-solver
  • Able to effectively manage time, tasks and costs across multiple activities and priorities
  • Able to work across the ‘marketing mix’, writing copy for off- as well as on-line campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML/e-marketing skills would be advantageous
  • Marketing qualification (CIM/ACIM), or working towards qualification.
