With a unique product and service offering this mid size, high value global consultancy has international clients across sectors including all the big banks and law firms.  This particular department has enjoyed significant success with a unique product offering to the market and with a concerted business development focus it has the potential to be very much more lucrative.

A new opportunity exists for an AD level BD Manager to head a team of two to establish and manage the practice area’s sales and business development.  Responsible for the end to end BD process you will plan and implement the sales strategy, delivering new business and renewals against targets.  The consultancy is already well established and there are a large number of cross sell opportunities to be realised as well as existing key client relationships to nurture and develop.  Working closely with the head of the department you will be a very visible representative of the firm in a role which includes some international travel.

Successful applicants will have at least four years experience in sales, BD or account management, ideally gained in a professional services environment.  Very strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a clear understanding of the sales process and a strong track record of delivering success are key to this role.  You will be educated to degree level and will have a genuine interest in current affairs.  There is some overseas travel in this role.
