Kent FA

About

The Kent FA aims to establish safe and structured football opportunities for the benefit of all. Football remains the most popular sport in Kent with 4,500 teams and 45,000 players competing each week across the County.

With the growth of housing in Kent, the contribution that grassroots football can make to building stronger communities, reducing crime, improving health, and tackling obesity is clear.

To achieve these social outcomes we invest in modern ‘fit for purpose’ football facilities, provide better coaching for players and more effective support to clubs, leagues and volunteers who form the backbone of delivery.

The Kent FA services the needs of the football community by putting in place a new generation of modern football facilities, increasing and widening participation levels, establishing strong sustainable links between schools and clubs and investing in the football workforce (Referees and Coaches) by providing quality training courses.

The Kent FA is committed to creating a culture of continuous improvement and working towards higher standards of service delivery to support football in Kent and ultimately provide a positive football experience to everyone.

In addition to developing, governing, promoting and protecting football in Kent, the Kent FA runs 19 County Cup competitions and 3 Representative teams at Under 18, Under 16 and Ladies.
