Business Development Manager

This is a classic Business Development Manager opportunity for someone in the legal sector who wants to work with one of the most exciting names in the sector at the moment based out of Manchester.

This role will be working closely with a specific national practice group to help create new business from targeted organisations and also to generate new revenue streams within existing clients. You will be creating thought leadership pieces, ensuring that the firm is perceived as the front runner with regards to this specialism. You will be looking at ensuring specialist events take place on time and to schedule and that the follow up on those events is thorough with a view to maximising the ROI. You will also ge tclosely involved with supporting the actions of the bids team - providing them with the insight and information they need to supply a winning pitch.

This is a highly regarded legal firm with a national presence. They have 9 offices spread across the UK and are going through a period of rapid growth. This is an exciting time to join them as the market continues to grow and develop and BD is very much a core focus for them. 

In order to be successful at application for this role you will need to have a proven track record as a Legal business development manager. You will need to be fairly flexible towards travel with a main office location of either Sheffield, Leeds or Manchester but travel to the other offices expected as required to liaise with partners.
