PR Account Manager

£33-38K plus benefits

Central London


This small but well established agency is looking for an Experienced Account Manager who can work across a variety of clients in the property sector. You will need around five years agency experience some of which has been in the property sector.

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Manage the needs of a variety of clients from initial brief through to successful implementation of PR and social media campaigns and projects
  • Deal directly with client requests / acting as their first point of contact - helping to identify and action their need
  • Run client meetings effectively - reporting on previous PR activity, suggesting ideas, interpreting client feedback in order to generate ideas
  • Communicate client agendas to other members of staff
  • Nurturing junior staff - helping them to understand client needs and expectations

Implementing client activity such as:

  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
  • Writing reactive press comments on behalf of clients effectively and accurately
  • Selling in news stories / features to the media
  • Building relationships with journalists
  • Attending client / journalist meetings
  • Handling social media accounts (where relevant) / advising on social media activity
  • Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, as well as social media (namely Twitter)
  • Administrative duties such including client activity / press coverage reports

New business development:

  • Identify potential new clients and business opportunities
  • Generate ways to attract new clients (e.g. ideas or researching networking opportunities, etc)
  • Assistance with ideas generation, research and presentations for new client pitches
  • Help to ensure client accounts are profitable
