PR Account Manager
A highly successful and award-winning PR consultancy in Manchester, is looking for an experienced and talented B2B PR Account Manager to enhance their award-winning team.
This reputable agency works with a number of well-known B2B brands across sectors including technology, construction, retail, property, professional services through to charities. On a daily basis, you will take the lead on a number of key projects whlist overseeing the day-to-day workload of a small team of account executives. Your duties will be many and varied, which makes the role diverse and interesting, but the key function will be developing strong relationships with clients and advising them; identifying client needs through regular contact and taking briefs; writing press releases, features, and various kinds of copy; confidently selling-in to media; and running client meetings. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with business development, by spotting opportunities, proactively building contacts, and creating positive and strategic new business proposals.
What we're looking for
As a person, you should have gained at least twelve months experience at account management level, within a PR agency or a similar B2B environment, and should have exceptional written and oral communication skills. You will also need excellent presentation, organisation, time management, and people management skills, alongside an understanding of crisis management, strong decision making ability, and the ability to come up with creative and quality ideas. Confidence, openness, and a positive outlook are also required!
