We are now seeking a manager-level social media specialist with strong expertise in TikTok strategy and influencer marketing, alongside experience in content creation, production, social account management and strategy. You'll take ownership of channel strategy and team output across a portfolio of clients, with the credibility to advise clients directly.. A genuine passion for food, drink, hospitality and travel is essential, and prior experience working within this sector is strongly preferred.

Overview Of Role

Strategic channel management and reporting, Instagram / TikTok strategy and growth, influencer strategy and relationship management, community-building and engagement, social shoot content capture and art direction, content creation. Hands-on client and project management.

Key Deliverables

  • Ownership of channel strategies, format innovation and platform growth across client accounts
  • Trend mining and social media landscape listening
  • Content ideation in line with trends and insights and planning calendars
  • Influencer strategy, outreach, negotiation and relationship-building
  • Social content capture (shoot production) and art direction
  • Asset creation and editing
  • Reporting in line with set KPIs, plus strategic guidance and recommendations on account growth
  • Client management and liaison, including senior stakeholder relationships
  • Ad hoc tactical / optimisation strategy, reporting on brands and trends
  • Posting and scheduling, both manual and through social management platforms
  • Community management and engagement
  • Project management, including timeline and deliverable tracking, file management, timekeeping and quality control

Social Strategy & Community

  • Development and ownership of social-first content strategy, staying ahead of platform features, trends and sounds
  • Influencer strategy, outreach and relationship management, with a focus on community-building and conversion
  • Strategy on social best practice, insights and reporting, regularly tracking against KPIs for all client accounts
  • Communication of strategic requirements and insights for content development e.g. monthly calendars or campaigns
  • Social media consultancy / strategic support (e.g. sourcing trends or sounds for content ideas), ensuring all assets meet channel best practices
  • Content publishing – manual and scheduling – plus channel management for all client accounts
  • Community management – both proactive and reactive – and engagement across all client accounts
  • Media landscape immersion and regular research on latest trends to support channel optimisation for client accounts
  • Collation of latest industry trends and social insights to benefit account growth and promote expertise / awareness to clients
  • Social art direction for shoots, briefing content creators on capture requirements and guiding on set to meet client objectives and overall vision
  • Day-to-day management of Sauce social channels and responsibility for implementing best practice, helping drive TikTok and Instagram growth targets

Creative Production

  • Creative ideation for assets and content series in line with client strategies and monthly content calendar briefs
  • Art direction for shoots including storyboarding, shotlists and moodboards
  • High-quality, multi-format social content capture for video shoots, ensuring all client requirements are met in line with brief and objectives
  • Supplier management, expenses tracking and location / prop sourcing
  • Reel / TikTok / story / in-feed asset creation, curation and editing including sound-sourcing / application and text overlay application
  • Caption copywriting and SEO management, supporting managers and juniors in calendar writing

Account / Client Management

  • Ownership and curation of client relationships, day-to-day stakeholder management and liaison
  • Setting of meeting agendas and leading client / internal connects
  • Project management including file management, meeting attendance and notes, action tracking and timeline management
  • Time management to work within allotted hours per client, completing timesheets on a daily basis
  • Support and quality-check the work of junior social executives across accounts

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience at a social media / marketing agency, with strong evidence of delivering Instagram/TikTok strategy, growth and content across multiple clients
  • Proven expertise in influencer marketing, from strategy and outreach through to negotiation and campaign delivery
  • Prior experience within food, drink, hospitality or travel is highly desirable
  • Examples of managing / posting high-engagement paid & organic content
  • Examples of working with influencers and suppliers
  • Experience working with social media tools such as Sprout, HeyOrca, Pulsar, TikTok Creator Marketplace or equivalent
  • Experience mentoring or line-managing junior team members is a plus
  • Obsessed with social media and the latest trends & platform developments
