About you
You’re passionate about social and understand the value it can bring to a brand in terms of storytelling and generating leads. You’re a strategic thinker and have successfully scaled social media channels with a substantial number of followers, consistently achieving set KPI targets, and reporting results to senior leadership. You’re innovative and able to think on your feet whilst also able to work to timelines and manage stakeholder expectations. You have experience managing external agencies and holding them to accountable for their performance. You pride yourself on keeping up-to-date on what’s trending on social, and knowing what type of content preforms best on which channels and what platform algorithms are looking for to accelerate growth. You know what good design looks like and are skilled at creating/editing scroll-stopping content. You’re able to keep cool under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced environment, can simultaneously manage multiple channels, and are comfortable pivoting between different brand needs with a smile. Role Overview
The Senior Marketing Executive is responsible for the end‑to‑end ownership, strategy, governance and day‑to‑day operation of Knight Frank’s social media presence across all major platforms. The role reports into the Senior Lead Marketing Channels and leads social media delivery across multiple service lines and markets, acting as the central authority for social media strategy, execution, best practice and compliance.
The Senior Social Media Marketing Executive operates with a high degree of autonomy (and with assistance from a marketing executive), managing reputational risk, supporting global brand visibility and ensuring social media contributes meaningfully to brand, PR and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall strategy, execution, optimisation, governance, accountability and training for Knight Frank’s core social channels
Ownership of the UK content calendar, and responsible for the end-to-end planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing of high-quality content for our primary social media channels (with particular focus on all UK divisions), including but not limited to:
Residential Sales & Lettings
International Residential
Commercial divisions
Rural, Energy & Projects
Development Services
Associated brands
Ongoing trend and innovation monitoring; keeping Knight Frank culturally relevant and competitive by either maximising our current platform capabilities or harnessing the power of emerging technologies
Lead and advise on social media strategy across all UK service lines, ensuring alignment with wider marketing, PR and business objectives
Setting measurable targets against industry benchmarks for tracking both the growth and commercial impact of our Social Meida channels
Act as the direct point of contact and provide relevant social media reporting for all service lines across the business
Collaborate with global marketing teams, reflecting the international audience and global visibility of Knight Frank’s social channels
Provide strategic input into campaigns, launches and PR activity
Support paid media strategy with expert recommendations
Work alongside and manage relationships with third party agencies
Collaborate with internal teams (outside of marketing), to ensure their important wins, critical news, or brand initiatives are featured on the appropriate social platforms
Confidently manage senior stakeholders, providing guidance and expert advice on social media best practices
Participate in all aspects of content creation, including:
Planning and strategy calls
Coordinating shoots
Script writing and storyboarding
Aligning social and PR objectives
Manage messaging, expectations and delivery
Provide direction, prioritisation and ongoing support to marketing executives within the team to ensure our channels scale whilst maintaining consistency and brand integrity
Deliver Ad-hoc social media training across the UK and globally
Flag unauthorised or fake social media accounts and other breaches of the Global Social Media Policy and actioning appropriately to protect the Knight Frank brand
Professional Experience and Personal Skills Profile
At least 5 years’ experience working in a social media role with a proven track record for scaling accounts with a substantial following (broader digital marketing experience a bonus)
Expert knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, platforms, including organic and paid advertising strategies to increase brand awareness and delivery leads (YouTube is a bonus)
Strong understanding and experience with social media reporting and publishing tools
A dual-minded approach: You enjoy both working on social strategy, are process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions, but you’re also highly creative, enjoy creating content, and ‘doing the doing’
Excellent communicator who is comfortable working alongside and presenting to senior business stakeholders and third-party agencies, as well as UK MarComs team
Strong planning and organisation skills; ability to prioritise workload in line with business needs and work to deadlines.
A skilled content creator: You know what good content not only looks like but have the prowess to create it too.
Must be highly skilled using Canva
Must be an expert with using in-platform photo/video editing tool (Experience using external content creation tools, such as Adobe CC, CapCut, etc. is a bonus)
Experience filming with a gimbal is a bonus
Experience using Monday.com is a bonus
Excellent attention to detail.
Self-motivated professional with a ‘can do’ attitude who enjoys being part of a team
