Hearst UK operates an in office policy with flexible Friday's. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James's, London, SW1Y 4AJ, where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.

Salary £30,000 - £35,000 Salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and relevant expertise.

The Role…

As the Senior Content Creator: Fashion, you will create elegant, authoritative and traffic-driving fashion content for Harper’s Bazaar, one of the world’s leading luxury fashion magazines. You will bring a refined editorial eye to daily digital stories, newsletters, video and print, helping to shape Bazaar’s distinctive fashion voice across platforms. Reporting to the Multiplatform Director and the Features Director, you will work closely with the fashion, features, digital, social, video, print and commercial teams to deliver content that feels sophisticated, culturally relevant and unmistakably Bazaar.

Main Duties…

  • Write daily fashion content for the Harper’s Bazaar website, including luxury fashion news, trend-led features, shopping edits, designer coverage, celebrity style, runway analysis and fashion/culture stories.
  • Write, compile and build the Harper’s Bazaar Essential Edit newsletter, ensuring it is polished, engaging, commercially aware and aligned with the magazine’s luxury editorial positioning.
  • Build and contribute to additional fashion and jewellery newsletters as needed.
  • Generate traffic-driving fashion ideas using data analytics, SEO research, audience insights and platform performance to identify what readers are searching for, engaging with and returning to.
  • Contribute to fashion video creation, including developing ideas, shaping scripts or talking points, supporting shoots and appearing on camera where required.
  • Write fashion content for the print magazine as needed, including but not limited to the monthly ‘10 Things We Love’ section, What to Wear pages, trend analysis andfashion/culture crossover pieces for Talking Points.
  • Provide editorial support on annual supplements, including the Gift Guide, Jewellery Supplement, Bazaar Art, the Travel Guide, digital supplements and Apple News editions.
  • Work collaboratively with our editors, stylists, photographers, designers, video producers, social teams and commercial stakeholders to deliver refined, visually compelling fashion content across all Bazaar platforms.

What We Are Looking For…

  • Proven experience creating fashion content for a luxury magazine, digital publisher, premium media brand, fashion brand or comparable editorial environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to produce polished copy quickly across digital, newsletter, video and print formats.
  • A strong understanding of luxury fashion, including major fashion houses, emerging designers, runway trends, celebrity style, jewellery, retail and the wider cultural landscape.
  • Experience using analytics, SEO tools or audience data to shape editorial ideas, drive traffic and improve engagement.
  • Confidence working with CMS and newsletter platforms, with a good understanding of digital publishing standards and workflows.
  • A refined visual eye and an understanding of how imagery, headlines, layouts and platform-specific packaging contribute to a premium reader experience.
  • A proactive, collaborative and ideas-led approach, with the confidence to pitch original concepts, respond quickly to trends and represent Harper’s Bazaar’s authority in luxury fashion.
