About COROS

We are a sports technology company dedicated to developing the best training solutions for athletes worldwide. Our mission is to leverage technology to solve the challenges athletes and sports enthusiasts face, helping them train smarter and perform at their best. Our aim is to deliver the best product while staying approachable, customer-focused, and ensuring that customer feedback directly shapes our innovation.

Our team spans across the globe. Our hardware and product engineering power comes from our headquarters in China, whereas our local teams in North America and Europe run marketing, sales, operations, and customer support to stay firmly connected in the local communities we serve. We are a team of doers, creative heads, sports lovers, and curious learners who thrive on ownership, trust, flexibility and team spirit.

About the Role

We are looking for a collaborative, high-performing Marketing Specialist to join our lean UK team. Reporting directly to the UK Country Manager, you will be the digital voice of COROS in the UK market.

While this role has clear milestones, we aren't looking for someone who just follows a checklist. We want an innovator and a creative problem-solver who is excited to support new projects as our community and business evolves. Your main playground will be social media, community engagement, and developing smart affiliate partnerships. Most importantly, you will spearhead our creator strategy: scouting, onboarding, and collaborating with local UK athletes to share authentic stories that live and breathe sports culture.

Your playground

  • Take the wheel of COROS UK's social accounts such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook. You'll build and execute a localised content calendar that fits the UK scene and collaborate with local guest content creators while staying aligned with our global team.
  • Be the voice of COROS online by engaging with our community daily, answer questions, decrease the heat on negative comments, and build real relationships with our fans.
  • Find and team up with UK athletes (primarily runners, but also cyclists, climbers, and outdoor lovers) to create genuine guest content that gets people talking.
  • Grow our UK affiliate program by spotting smart partnerships that elevate the brand and deliver a solid return on investment.
  • Lead athlete interactions and content creation right where the action happens at live events. Working at events will be required alongside the team, 3-4 events per year initially.
  • Team up with our UK PR agency to keep COROS, our product launches, and our athletes in the spotlight.
  • We’re a small team. Sometimes that means rolling up your sleeves to help with retail training, event setups, or whatever it takes to cross the finish line.

What you bring to the starting line

  • Marketing Experience: You bring 1+ years in a general marketing or social media role. Knowledge of the sports or consumer technology sectors would be an advantage.
  • Social Media Experience: You've successfully built a consumer brand's social presence using channels such as IG, Tiktok, Facebook, and Youtube and know how to engage an online community.
  • Sports Passion: You’re a runner yourself or you have a deep, authentic understanding of the UK running/ endurance sport landscape.
  • Creative Eye: You have a natural instinct for global social trends and experience either creating content yourself or managing external creators.
  • Ease of connecting: You can form connections effortlessly, whether that’s chatting with an elite athlete or engaging with a follower in the comments section. You can naturally read people, understand their needs and cater to them to build lasting relationships.
  • Skillset: You have a degree in business or marketing, but more importantly, you balance a creative mind with strong organizational skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Flexibility: You're ready to travel for events, which means occasional weekend work.

The Setup

Hybrid Working Mode: You’ll spend 1–2 days a week collaborating in person at our Skipton office, with the flexibility to work from home the rest of the week.

Preferred Location: Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, or surrounding areas within an easy commute of Skipton.

Work-Life Rhythm: This role is tied to the pace of the sports calendar and social media. To make up for weekend events, COROS offers days off in lieu so you can recharge.

Start date: We are ready when you are.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position starts at £30.000,- annually with the possibility to earn a performance-based bonus on top. This is the least we can do for you. The final offer depends on your experience, background, and location.
