Overview
The Marketing Manager leads the planning, delivery and optimisation of integrated B2B marketing across the firm. The role translates business priorities and client insight into measurable campaigns that drive brand positioning, client engagement, lead generation and pipeline growth.
This role combines campaign ownership with hands-on delivery across digital, content, social, email and events.
Responsibilities
• Marketing planning and campaign ownership
• Develop integrated marketing plans aligned to business and sector priorities
• Translate objectives into clear briefs, audiences, messaging, channels and KPIs
• Own end-to-end campaign delivery, from planning to optimisation and reporting
• Prioritise activity based on impact and maintain a coordinated marketing calendar
• Support annual planning, governance, budgeting and resource allocation
B2B Lead Generation and Client Engagement
• Work with BD and key stakeholders to define audiences and opportunities
• Deliver campaigns that drive leads, engagement and pipeline contribution
• Align marketing with CRM, follow-up and client development activity
• Support account-based marketing and targeted campaigns
• Track performance including engagement, lead quality and outcomes
Digital and Performance Marketing
• Plan and optimise activity across website, email, social, SEO and paid channels
• Use data and analytics to improve performance and conversion
• Enhance user journeys, landing pages and content visibility
• Manage email and automation, including segmentation and nurture journeys
• Identify opportunities to improve digital capability and tools
Content and Thought Leadership
• Develop clear, audience-focused content with internal experts
• Support delivery of thought leadership, campaigns and digital content
• Ensure consistency of tone, messaging and brand positioning
• Optimise content performance and distribution across channels
Stakeholder Management and Delivery
• Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders and leadership
• Shape briefs to ensure focus and commercial relevance
• Build strong relationships across teams and agencies
• Manage delivery, timelines and priorities across multiple projects
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
• Define KPIs linked to engagement, leads, pipeline and ROI
• Deliver clear reporting and insights to stakeholders
• Use data to optimise campaigns and improve future activity
• Support development of dashboards and performance frameworks
Qualifications
Technical marketing
• Strong B2B marketing experience, ideally in professional services
• Experience across integrated campaigns, digital, content, social, email and events
• Proficient with marketing tools (CMS, CRM, automation, analytics)
• Good undertanding of SEO, digital performance and content optimisation
• Strong writing and messaging skills; understanding of brand and GDPR
Campaign and commercial capability
• Proven ability to deliver multi-channel campaigns end-to-end
• Strong project management and prioritisation skills
• Understanding of B2B buyer journeys, lead generation and pipeline
• Commercial mindset with focus on outcomes and ROI
