The role:

Are you a great digital marketer, ready to own a marketing function end-to-end, with a real curiosity for how AI is reshaping the world of work and Marketing specifically?

Join MGN, a leading creative events agency and lead all marketing activity for a business that designs and delivers high-impact corporate experiences and luxury private events. We're hiring our first dedicated Marketing Manager to take ownership of brand, content, digital, SEO and AI search, paid, PR, social, email, nurture, sponsorships, awards, and the reporting that holds it all to account.

AI is woven into how we work. We are not hiring an AI engineer who happens to do marketing. We are hiring a strong marketer, especially in the digital space, who is genuinely curious about AI and already using it in their work. You'll work alongside a trusted team of specialist freelance partners, set the standard, and shape the function's evolution over time.

As our Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Managing Director and Head of Growth and the wider MGN team to drive qualified inbound enquiries, nurture our growing contact base, improve our HubSpot tool so it delivers even more value, win earned media, apply for awards, and make sure we are promoting the right products and services to the right audiences at the right moments.

We are seeking a driven individual with two years or more of marketing experience (at least one of which managing a department, function or similar responsibility), strong digital expertise, a commercial instinct, and a genuine interest in using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT and others) to make their marketing sharper and faster. A background in events, experiential, premium B2B services, luxury or hospitality is a plus, and you will have used Hubspot, but we are hiring for capability over CV.

If you have a genuine passion for marketing, a deep understanding of SEO, AEO and AI search, the analytical skills to lead from data, and the judgement to work autonomously, we want to hear from you.

Location:

This role is based at our HQ in Windsor. We encourage this role to be in the office as much as possible, plus onsite at our events as required. If this sounds like you, apply today to set up a call with our team.

Required experience:

• Three years or more of marketing experience, with at least one year managing a department/function or similar responsibility.

• Strong digital marketing experience across web, content, social, email and paid.

• Fluency at a HubSpot at a builder level, not just a user level.

• A genuine, deep understanding of SEO, AEO and how AI search is reshaping discovery.

• A real interest in AI and how it is reshaping marketing, with examples of how you have started to weave AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, automations, cowork, code, skills etc) into your day to day.

• Sharp copywriting and editing skills, with a trained eye for design and creative quality.

• Confidence orchestrating freelancers, agencies and senior stakeholders, getting the best from them without micromanaging.

• A test and learn mindset and the analytical experience to lead from data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the marketing function end to end, including brand, content, digital, SEO and AI search, paid, PR, social, email, nurture, sponsorships and awards.

• Use AI tools thoughtfully to make our marketing sharper and faster, with human judgment, taste and craft applied at the points that matter.

• Drive qualified inbound enquiries from senior corporate buyers and private clients.

• Own our nurture programme across past clients, prospects, partners and event attendees, with clear accountability for the result.

• Build and maintain a mature HubSpot stack, including properties, workflows, lifecycle stages, attribution, lead scoring, reporting and nurture sequences.

• Lead our visibility across traditional search and emerging AI answer engines.

• Spot PR opportunities and act on them, landing MGN in the right rooms, on the right stages, in the right publications, and on the right awards lists.

• Brief designers and creative partners with clarity, holding the standard without becoming the bottleneck.

• Work alongside and orchestrate our trusted team of specialist freelance partners (designers, copywriters, web, video and PR), getting the best from them and shaping how the function evolves.

• Coordinate closely with the Managing Director, Head of Growth, and design leads, and the wider MGN team to bring out the voice of the team and the culture of MGN in everything we put into the world.

• Lead from data, build the reporting layer to support that, and present findings that change what we do next.

• Help us decide where to invest in select in-house capability over time, as the function matures.

• Work directly with the founders, playing a key role in shaping MGN marketing strategy.

Application details:

Please apply via BambooHR. We ask for the following:

• Your CV, along with a cover letter stating why you want to work for MGN Events and why you would be suitable for the position.

• Answers to our short application questions.

• A short Loom video (two to three minutes maximum) covering the two questions below.

In your Loom, please cover:
