The Minded Institute is a world leader in yoga therapy education. For nearly 20 years we have trained yoga therapists, psychotherapists, and health professionals to work clinically at the intersection of yoga, neuroscience, psychology, and evidence-based practice. Our graduates work in the NHS, in private practice, and in community healthcare settings across the UK and internationally. We are actively involved in lobbying for the inclusion of yoga therapy in mainstream healthcare, and we are at a point of deliberate, focused growth.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who can help us grow with purpose and clarity. This is a role for someone who understands that TMI is a serious professional education institution, and who can help us communicate that to the audiences who need to hear it.

The Role

The most important measure of success in this role is commercial: growing enrolments in our diploma programmes and CPD courses, building the pipeline, and ensuring our marketing activity translates into real revenue. Everything else serves that goal.

You will begin by assessing where TMI's brand and messaging currently stand and what needs to change. That may mean refining how we communicate, or it may mean something more substantial. We are open to both. What we need is someone who can look at this organisation clearly and help us present it to the world in a way that reflects what we actually are and drives the growth we need.

From that foundation, you will own the strategic direction of our marketing, build and manage the funnels that move the right people from awareness to enrolment, oversee our social media and content presence, and nurture our existing community of graduates, students, and professional partners.

This is a role with genuine ownership. We are not looking for someone to execute a brief handed down to them. We need someone who can set the direction and be accountable for the outcomes.

Who We Are Looking For

The right person will have solid experience in marketing, ideally within professional education, healthcare, integrative medicine, or mental health. They will already understand the landscape of yoga therapy or clinical mind-body practice — not because we require a practitioner, but because this work demands genuine familiarity with the field. A strong writer and clear strategic thinker, they will know how to build awareness and drive enrolments for high-value professional training.

Equally important is disposition. We need someone who is self-directed and comfortable with real ownership — someone who can assess what needs to be done, build the plan, and be accountable for the results. This is not a role for someone who needs close direction or who thinks primarily in terms of content output rather than commercial outcomes.
