Full-time
On-site
Salford, United Kingdom
£50,000 - £60,000 GBP yearly

Build a marketing engine for an industry that keeps people alive. Full autonomy. Real mission. North West base. £50 - 60k · 3-month fixed term initially.

This is a builder role, not a maintenance role.

ARMSA Academy provides specialist safety and operations training for the renewable energy sector: wind, solar, and battery energy storage. We have operated for over two decades and hold an established reputation with developers, asset owners, OEMs, and O&M contractors across the UK and Europe

We have a strong reputation, credible thought leadership content, and a growing pipeline of prospects. What we do not yet have is a structured inbound engine that consistently converts market interest into sales conversations. That is what this role exists to create: from the ground up, with a clear brief and real autonomy to execute it.

You will inherit existing marketing assets, a contact database, and Mailchimp as your core platform. Your job is to turn those raw materials into functioning funnels, automated nurture sequences, and a segmented audience structure that generates measurable lead growth.

Our Values · Behaviours, not slogans

We have defined our values as specific behaviours we hold ourselves to account on. Not aspirations on a wall.

01 · Self-Awareness

We question our own work, approach every challenge with a beginner’s mind, acknowledge the limits of our competence, and share our thinking openly, including when we get things wrong.

02 · Principled Leadership

We give people the "why" behind decisions, have difficult conversations rather than avoiding them, anchor our choices in evidence, and change course when the evidence changes.

03 · Nurturing Human Potential

We coach without judgement, create space for collective wisdom, celebrate progress, and build an environment where people feel safe to contribute fully.

04 · Decision Competence

We communicate our strategic rationale, question underlying assumptions, seek input from those affected, and test ideas through focused experiments rather than assumption alone.

How we measure success

  • Growth in Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL)

  • Growth in Sales Qualified Leads (SQL)

  • Email engagement rates: open, click, reply

  • Funnel conversion metrics

  • Sales conversations generated from marketing activity

If it goes well

This is an initial 3-month fixed-term contract. If the engagement successfully establishes a functioning marketing engine and demonstrates measurable traction, the role may extend or evolve into a permanent position as Marketing Manager, Demand Generation Lead, or Head of Marketing.

If you believe that safety and performance are two sides of the same coin and that your work can contribute to a safer, greener world, we would love to hear from you.
