Who We Are Looking For:

We're looking for a curious, creative Marketing Executive to join our marketing team in Coventry. You're organised, self-motivated, and thrive in fast-paced environments. You have strong written and verbal communication skills, understand digital marketing fundamentals, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. You're detail-oriented, collaborative, and genuinely excited about building campaigns that drive results. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team to develop and deliver marketing plans that promote our events to delegates and exhibitors across multiple channels.

The Role:

  • Develop and execute audience development plans, ensuring marketing communications reflect event positioning and key messaging
  • Collate and write outbound customer communications - strong writing skills are essential
  • Execute marketing campaigns and report on effectiveness, KPIs, and results
  • Drive the creative/design process for marketing materials - updating existing materials and creating new content aligned with strategy
  • Work closely with the sales team to create integrated campaigns focused on new client growth and retention across digital, sponsorships, and future revenue opportunities
  • Review marketing performance regularly - analysing response rates, KPIs, attendee demographics, and industry best practices to optimise results
  • Collaborate with external partners to develop integrated campaigns, lead generation strategies, and compelling materials across live and digital products
  • Oversee and execute community-building and social media strategies that drive engagement, interaction, and brand affinity
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and on budget
  • Undertake other duties as reasonably requested

About You:

  • Experience working as a Marketing Executive or an experienced Marketing Assistant in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to produce creative, well-thought-out marketing plans
  • Strong IT skills including CRM and CMS platforms, databases, social media tools, email marketing, and marketing automation software
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals and ability to apply digital principles effectively
  • Expertise in social media or new digital marketing tools - something you can teach us
  • Exceptional attention to detail (in events, the small things matter)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver them on time and on budget
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable networking and building relationships with people from all walks of life
  • Grace under pressure and flexibility to accommodate extended hours around key shows
  • Ambition to develop your marketing career
