At The Wilf Ward Family Trust, we're looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our passionate team for a 12-month fixed term position and help showcase the incredible impact we have on the lives of the people we support. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, thrives on creativity, and wants to use their marketing skills for a purpose-driven organisation. Working within an already established Marketing and Communications team, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference!

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same in this role. You'll work closely with our Marketing and Communication Business Partner to bring our brand to life across a range of channels and projects.

  • Create engaging content for social media, blogs, newsletters, websites, and promotional campaigns.
  • Support the planning and delivery of digital marketing campaigns that inspire, inform, and engage.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence by scheduling content, interacting with audiences, and tracking performance.
  • Research market trends, audience insights, and new opportunities to help shape future marketing activity.
  • Assist with the promotion and organisation of events, both online and in person.
  • Monitor campaign results and produce reports that help us continually improve.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the marketing function, helping keep projects organised and running smoothly.

About you

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and full of ideas.

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related subject (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in a marketing role, ideally involving digital marketing and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence using social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • A creative mindset combined with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach and a genuine passion for marketing.
