Direct Marketing Co-ordinator (Offline/Print)
WeBuyVintageAbout WeBuyVintage
WeBuyVintage is one of the UK’s largest buyers of jewellery, antiques and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company - over 250 valuation events every month - bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country.
In lthree years, we’ve grown from a pub-table idea into an eight-figure business, and we’re on a mission to make WeBuyVintage a brand everyone recognises.
The Role:
We are looking for a Direct Marketing Co-ordinator to join our rapidly growing team in Cambridge. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will take ownership of our offline and traditional marketing channels as we scale one of the UK’s fastest-growing re-commerce brands.
This is a senior role for someone who's spent their career in traditional marketing and understands the craft of offline channels done well. Our customers are typically 55 and over. They value trust, familiarity and things done properly. The channels that reach them best are the ones marketers often overlook - a well-timed door drop, a considered magazine placement, a piece of direct mail that lands with the right offer on the right doormat. We believe these channels are core to our growth, and we're looking for someone who knows how to make them work harder through constant testing, optimisation and smart execution.
You'd be joining a small, rapidly growing marketing department where offline marketing is highly valued. We're a friendly, collaborative team that moves quickly and people are trusted to own their remits. For the right person, this is a chance to shape the channels that really matter to the business, and have a huge impact as we scale.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Owning and running all offline and printed marketing activity across the business.
- Managing door drops - including working with agencies on targeting, distribution, testing and continual optimisation of formats, headlines, offers and creative.
- Managing direct mail projects, working with our direct mail agency on planning, targeting, creative testing and distribution.
- Owning all bought media, including magazine placements, inserts, advertorials and reader offers.
- Working closely with our Local Marketing Manager on local and regional print to make sure national and local activity works together.
- Applying direct response principles across all offline marketing.
- Managing supplier and media partner relationships, including printers, distributors, publications, media buyers, and negotiating on rates.
- Tracking response and attribution against roadshow attendance, home visits and enquiries, feeding insights back into planning.
- Working with our creative team to brief and refine printed materials, keeping quality and brand consistency high.
- Managing offline budgets, planning schedules, and reporting on performance to the Head of Marketing.
- Leading OOH as a future channel when we begin testing.
- Supporting the wider marketing team on broader offline campaigns as the business grows - with scope (depending on experience and personal preferences) to take on additional channels over time.
Who We’re Looking For:
You’ll be great in this role if you have:
- A deep, genuine understanding of the 55+ consumer. What they read, what they trust, what makes them respond, and how their world differs from other more digital-first audiences.
- A career built in offline marketing and a real appreciation of the craft.
- You think in terms of response rates, cost per lead and attribution.
- The confidence to hold suppliers, printers and media buyers to a high standard, and the experience to negotiate on rates.
- A meticulous eye for detail. You know that a small change to a headline, offer or layout can move the numbers significantly.
- A collaborative style. Happy working closely with a small team and with external partners.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Extensive experience in offline, print and direct response marketing.
- Strong track record of running direct mail and door drop campaigns that deliver measurable response.
- Experience buying print and magazine media, including negotiating rates and managing media schedules.
- Experience working with print suppliers and distributors.
- Experience marketing to audiences aged 55 and over.
- Comfort with response tracking, attribution and using data to shape future campaigns.
What You’ll Get:
- 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday)
- Access to Bright Exchange - enjoy thousands of exclusive employee discounts and perks
- Employee Assistance Programme - confidential, 24/7 support for you and your immediate family, covering work, personal, and home life matters
- On-demand professional development - access to BrightHR’s online learning platform to build new skills and support your career progression
- Competitive pay
- Be part of a rapidly growing, friendly UK brand
The salary for this role is up to £45,000 p.a.
We are happy to consider both full time and part-time applications for this position.
Please note that this role will be based in our Cambridge office a minimum of 2 days per week.
