At Sky, we're transforming how we understand and grow digital performance. The Digital Trading team is responsible for uncovering the insights that drive better customer experiences, stronger commercial outcomes and smarter decision-making across our digital channels.

As a Digital Performance & Insights Lead, you'll sit at the centre of this agenda, combining data, commercial understanding and storytelling to explain what's happening, why it's happening and what we should do next. From leading deep-dive analysis and evolving our performance frameworks to building next-generation dashboards and measurement capabilities, you'll play a key role in shaping how Sky measures success and identifies future growth opportunities.

What you'll do

You will be the analytical engine of the Digital Trading team, leading the insight, measurement and performance agenda that shapes Sky's digital growth strategy.

  • Lead deep-dive analysis to identify the drivers of customer demand, conversion and commercial performance.
  • Translate complex data into clear recommendations that influence trading priorities and strategic decisions.
  • Own the evolution of digital measurement, redefining key demand, conversion and value metrics to better reflect customer behaviour and business outcomes.
  • Lead transformation initiatives that improve how performance is measured and reported, including the development of new dashboards, scorecards and analytical frameworks.
  • Drive the integration of new data sources and capabilities, including Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, ContentSquare and other digital platforms, creating a richer view of customer journeys and performance.
  • Build and maintain executive-level reporting and insight packs that clearly articulate the "what, why and so what".
  • Partner with Digital Marketing, Merchandising, Experimentation, Product and Analytics teams to identify opportunities, measure impact and drive continuous optimisation.
  • Act as the team's analytical expert, championing best practice in performance measurement, experimentation and data storytelling.

What you’ll bring

Essential criteria:

  • An outstanding storyteller and presenter who can turn complex data into simple, compelling narratives, bringing together multiple data sources to influence strategy, prioritisation and commercial decision-making.
  • A highly analytical problem solver with a passion for turning data into actionable insight.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to connect analytical findings to business impact and growth opportunities.
  • Experienced in leading complex analysis and performance investigations that drive commercial outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics, customer behaviour and performance measurement.
  • Proven experience developing KPI frameworks, dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Excellent communicator, able to simplify complex information and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experienced working across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Analytics.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience with other Digital analytical platforms
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
  • Collaborative experience working with Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Product and Commercial Teams.

How you’ll work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
