An exciting opportunity has arisen within Be Smoke Free Manchester for an enthusiastic, dedicated communications and marketing coordinator to join our successful team. Be Smoke Free is a specialist nurse-led tobacco addiction service run by Change Grow Live in partnership with Manchester Integrated Care Partnership and Manchester City Council. Our aim is to raise awareness of the negative effects of smoking and to promote wellbeing in workplaces and other organisations across the city.

The role is vital to the promotion of our tobacco addiction service by providing clear, concise external communications on numerous different platforms alongside ensuring internal events, communications, leaflets and information are current and informative.

The role will be hybrid, split between home working and at our sites across Manchester.

Where: Manchester

Hours: 37.5 per week

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role:

  • Write creative, engaging, and impactful content for a wide range of communication channels and audiences.
  • Raise the profile of the service through targeted marketing, promotional activity, and awareness campaigns.
  • Support the administration, maintenance, and development of online resources available to people accessing our services.
  • Collate service user, stakeholder, and staff feedback, sharing insights internally and externally to demonstrate impact and outcomes.
  • Develop, schedule, and post regular content across social media platforms, researching content ideas and emerging trends to maximise engagement.
  • Create and deliver digital marketing campaigns to promote services, events, achievements, and key organisational messages.
  • Manage and grow the organisation’s social media presence by increasing reach, engagement, and audience interaction across multiple platforms.
  • Produce a range of digital content, including graphics, videos, newsletters, blogs, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor social media and website analytics, evaluating campaign performance and using data-driven insights to improve future content and marketing activity.
  • Identify opportunities to increase online visibility through digital marketing, social media advertising, partnerships, and community engagement.
  • Support reputation management by responding to online enquiries, monitoring comments and messages, and ensuring timely, professional communication.
  • Keep up to date with social media trends, digital marketing tools, and best practice to enhance audience engagement and service promotion.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to develop compelling campaigns that showcase the impact of services and encourage participation.
