ROLE TITLE: UKI Brand Manager Sure

BACKGROUND
Unilever is one of the leading Personal Care (PC) manufacturers in the UKI, with the largest and most loved brands, including Sure, Lynx & Dove. PC UKI is a €640m turnover business, which has been driving outstanding profitable growth for the past few years. We are the largest BG-led market in Europe and include the two biggest market share winning cells (UK Deodorants & UK Skin Cleansing).
Sure is the UK’s no 1 antiperspirant brand, with 25% of the UK population using it. It comprises of two brands - Sure women (£98.5m turnover) & Sure men (£80m turnover) which both have market leading scale & each play across three tiers of good, better & best deodorants as well as the new whole body segment. Sure has an opening for an experienced and high performing Brand Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the brand management of Sure deodorant. Being the biggest brand in the highest priority area of UK Personal Care (deodorants), this role is a real opportunity to develop your career further.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Owner of Sure brand performance
Owning brand performance metrics & actions plans via constant review of both internal and external results for ongoing improvement
Identify share and growth trends, key initiative tracking, competitor activity & under-delivery action plans
Lead communication plans for Sure
Lead the delivery of the 360 comms plans on Sure via the management of the cross-agency team & collaboration with the Sure global team to create social first campaigns with impact
Take a truly cross- agency approach leveraging media, influencer & partnership agencies, whilst landing outstanding assets
Lead innovation plans for Sure
Work closely with business group & local deploy team to land the Sure innovation plans on time in full
Lead cross-functional teams to unlock best-in-class impact
Create robust business cases for all project innovations and measure their success in post-launch evaluations
Lead commercial & customer facing plans
Collaborate with CD to land excellent execution of plans & drive in year share driving opportunities for Sure
Develop category-based trade sell-ins for all projects and lead external engagements including annual brand cascades
Lead strategic planning for Sure
Uncover root issues and opportunities via the 6Ps & develop clear strategies (‘jobs to be done’) for the brand to deliver the agreed results
Lead the implementation of the aligned strategic plans
Budget management
Oversee the sizeable Sure brand budget to ensure spend is phased accurately & in line with agreement
Other responsibilities as necessary depending on the nature of the role and workplan & will take in consideration the successful candidate’s development and career roadmap. There is likely to be more of a focus on Sure Women specifically within this role.

Highly passionate about our business, brands and developing, leading and executing our plans with excellence and as part of a wider PC team. Keen to remove obstacles to achieve the impossible
Comfortable with ambiguity and a constantly evolving and exciting landscape both internally and externally. Excellent prioritisation skills, the ability to adapt and flex with changing business context and balance priorities across several projects & priorities
