Job Description:

Our client is a well-established and growing Asian food business supplying authentic, premium-quality products to both retail and commercial customers across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Brand Manager to take ownership of new product development projects while supporting broader brand and marketing initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and highly organised individual who enjoys managing projects from concept through to launch and working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end new product development (NPD) projects, coordinating activities from concept creation through to successful market launch.
  • Work closely with overseas suppliers, packaging design partners, technical teams, and purchasing departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
  • Manage packaging development and artwork updates for both new and existing product ranges.
  • Monitor market trends, identify new opportunities, and contribute ideas for future product development.
  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Support day-to-day brand administration, including product audits, website updates, sample management, filing, and maintaining accurate project documentation.
  • Provide support across wider marketing and brand activities as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience within Brand Management, Product Management, Project Management, or New Product Development, ideally within the food sector.
  • Experience managing projects from initial concept through to completion, including supplier and stakeholder coordination.
  • A genuine interest in Asian food, cooking, and delivering authentic, high-quality products to market.
  • Comfortable working within a multicultural business environment and building collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail.
  • Additional Asian language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.

Measures of Success

  • Successful delivery of NPD projects within agreed timescales, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Positive product performance and market acceptance following launch.
  • Strong collaboration with suppliers, agencies, and internal teams.
  • Consistently high standards of organisation, administration, and project support.

This role would suit a motivated Brand Executive, Assistant Brand Manager, NPD Coordinator, or Brand Manager looking to further develop their career within a growing and highly respected food business.
