The Role

The Account Executive will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of high-quality client campaigns across print, digital and live activity. Acting as a central point of coordination, the role will support client relationships, content production, events and photoshoots, while maintaining accurate account administration and reporting.

Working in a fast-paced and collaborative agency environment, the role requires excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The Account Executive will be supported to develop their skills and take on greater account responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Client & Account Management

  • Act as a reliable and professional day-to-day point of contact, building positive client relationships and developing an understanding of their objectives, priorities and requirements.
  • Anticipate client needs, manage expectations and respond to queries in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders, providing appropriate updates on progress, actions and delivery timelines.
  • Support the delivery of high-quality work that meets agreed client briefs, budgets and deadlines.

Campaign Delivery

  • Coordinate end-to-end campaign workflows, ensuring briefs, responsibilities, actions and deadlines are clearly understood.
  • Work closely with Design, Editorial, Ad Operations, Print Production and other internal teams to support effective delivery.
  • Maintain accurate project plans and timelines using Monday.com or other agreed project-management systems.
  • Identify potential risks, delays or changes in requirements at an early stage and work with the Account Director and relevant teams to resolve or escalate them.
  • Help ensure that final deliverables are accurate, appropriately approved and supplied in accordance with the agreed brief.

Events and Photoshoot Production

  • Coordinate project timelines, actions and logistical requirements for client events and photoshoots, including Motability’s Scheme Live event.
  • Track incoming products, inventory and other materials, ensuring all required items are accounted for and ready for the event or shoot.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, venues, contributors, suppliers and other external partners where required.
  • Provide on-site support at events and photoshoots, helping to ensure activity runs smoothly.

Reporting and Account Administration

  • Assist in preparing clear and accurate client presentations and compiling post-campaign reports..
  • Raise requisitions and maintain accurate records of contributor and supplier costs.
  • Coordinate with the Billing team to support accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Support the Account Director with account forecasts, cost tracking and other financial administration.

Teamwork and Development

  • Work collaboratively with the wider client services team and colleagues across different disciplines.
  • Contribute to project reviews and share learning that may improve future campaigns, processes or client outcomes.
  • Continue to build knowledge of Wonderly’s clients, services and delivery processes.
  • Respond positively to feedback, take an active role in personal development and assume greater account responsibility as experience develops.

Key Relationships

The Account Executive will report to and work closely with the Account Director to coordinate account activity, maintain forecasts and support the effective delivery of client work.

The role will build positive day-to-day relationships with client contacts and act as a link between clients and the internal teams responsible for delivering their campaigns.

Internally, the Account Executive will collaborate with colleagues across Client Services, Design, Editorial, Ad Operations, Print Production, Events and Billing. The role may also coordinate with contributors, suppliers, venues and other external partners in support of campaigns, events and photoshoots.

Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Knowledge

  • Understanding of the principles of client service and account coordination within an agency, media or comparable environment.
  • Awareness of how campaigns and content are delivered across print, digital and live channels.
  • Understanding of project workflows, timelines, budgets and the importance of accurate record keeping.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of project-management tools such as Monday.com, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and external partners.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Ability to plan ahead, track actions and deadlines, and identify potential delivery risks.

Experience

  • Approximately one to two years’ relevant experience within an agency, media or comparable client-facing environment.
  • Experience coordinating deliverables with cross-functional teams and working to agreed briefs and deadlines.
  • Experience supporting client relationships and communicating with external stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting the delivery of campaigns, events, photoshoots or content production would be advantageous.
  • Experience supporting account administration, reporting, budgeting, cost management or invoicing would be an advantage.

  • Effective use of Monday.com and other agreed systems to maintain accurate project information.
  • Strong collaboration across Wonderly and the wider Haymarket teams involved in client delivery.
  • Continued development of client-service knowledge and increased ownership of account activity over time.
