This leading sports and entertainment agency are looking for an established Business Director to join its Activation Team. Reporting directly into a Managing Partner, you will lead one of the agency’s largest client accounts and spearhead its sponsorship of an iconic sports and entertainment venue. As an experienced senior leader, this role is focused on delivering market leading campaigns and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver brilliant strategic & creative programmes for all client brand/ brand portfolios, offering trusted guidance and counsel.
• Plan, create, deliver and execute best in class programmes across the relevant client base.
• Demonstrate and share in-depth knowledge of the sport & culture industry – network, people, trends, insights and trade industry bodies.
• Demonstrate and share in-depth knowledge of key cultural territories relevant to the agency’s client business e.g. sport, music, gaming, film etc. Be networked within these territories to deliver relevant collaborations and partners that ensure the agency remains as the ‘go-to’ agency for brands connecting through contemporary culture.
• Work in partnership and collaboratively with all senior Activation team members to enable an efficient and profitable Activation function, a truly integrated and motivated ‘one team’ team mentality.
• Be senior counsel to clients and internally around any challenges with an ability to understand and talk knowledgably and work with our experts to gather opinion and deliver outstanding work.
• Share a strong network of contacts that help enhance the agency’s client work and offering.
• To grow your profile externally being seen as an industry leader.

Experience Required

The agency are looking for someone with sports sponsorship and partnership experience, ideally being a right’s holder, some experience in experiential (but not someone whose main focus is this).

Previous BD level experience in an agency is essential.

Ideally an asap start but the agency will consider longer notice periods for candidates with highly relevant experience.
