Timeframe: Permanent position.
Location: Knutsford, Cheshire, United Kingdom.
We are minutes from the M6, and easily commutable from Manchester, Stockport, Wilmslow, Warrington, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, and Northwich.
Salary: We pay excellent salaries above the normal market level, and this is always determined based on your individual skills and contribution.
Benefits: Share options, 8% employer pension contribution.
Life assurance: 4x salary.
Income protection: full pay for first 6 months of incapacity followed by 75% of salary plus pension contribution.
Private medical insurance (Bupa).
Holidays: 25 days plus public holidays.
Working hours: Core hours are 9am to 5pm, with flexibility to start any time between 8am and 9.30am.
The opportunity
As PortSwigger enters a period of accelerated growth, we are seeking a Marketing Lead to play a key role in driving our marketing awareness, entering new markets, and solidifying our presence in existing ones.
You will engage with a variety of activities in some of the key areas below:
- Defining and executing go-to-market campaigns for new products and features, from inception, to campaign management, to achieving desired outcomes.
- Engaging with customers to deepen our understanding of their goals and how our products can support them.
- Using data to inform decision-making and test routes to market, including marketing metrics and campaign performance analysis.
- Conducting market and competitor research to inform our strategies.

Essential
- Broad go-to-market experience with a portfolio of varied styles, channels and campaigns.
- Proven ability to understand complex technical products clearly and form compelling messaging that uniquely positions us in the market.
- Ability to assess and gain insight from marketing outcomes to test and inform the most effective routes to market.
- Experience in bridging multiple departments and facilitating cross-team collaboration to deliver successful outcomes.
- Proven experience with data, using your own analysis to make great decisions.
- A track record of successfully bringing products and features to market, creating demand generation.
- Familiarity with agile planning methodologies.
Desirable
- Prior experience in a B2B SaaS company with broad marketing responsibilities – working in a small team and wearing many hats.
- Experience with Salesforce/Pardot or equivalent CRM to track and manage MQLs.
- Experience using LinkedIn or Google Ads to create and track paid B2B advertising.
- Experience in launching new products in tech / cyber sectors.
