The role is to deliver an engaging digital customer experience, promote the brand and mission, and capture online sales to help achieve the key business objectives. The E-Commerce Manager manages web development projects in collaboration with the Digital Development team to ensure the e-commerce platform functionality presents a strong and compelling brand presence in the digital marketplace.
Leading strategic short and long-term planning for the e-commerce sales channels, monitoring and measuring site performance in order to identify sales opportunities and solutions, make recommendations and improve performance.
Developing and executing project plans including resource requirements, deliverables, milestones, and completion timelines.
Analyzing data to deliver data-driven strategies that deliver top performance and achieve commercial KPIs.
Providing project management for and oversight of the e-commerce channel, including ensuring that all aspects of the channel are coordinated and functional; identifying and exploring how to keep positive trends going and course correct when trends are underperforming.
This role needs a strong background in an e-commerce role with project management skills and a great understanding of e-commerce technology and web development.
Ideally 5-7 years’ experience managing a website and e-commerce at both strategic and operational levels.
Experience with Contentful/EPI E-Commerce systems preferred
Understanding of web statistics and tracking programs with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Google Analytics.
