Social Media Assistant
Great Dunmow, Essex
Monday – Friday
9am – 5pm

The Company

Our client has a vision: to be recognised as the leading provider of specialist education transport for children and young people, particularly those with special educational needs.

They have been in the transport sector for many years and their Directors have used their knowledge and extensive experience to design and set up the best and most effective special needs transport organisation in the country. They continue to receive many awards for their service to the sector and stakeholders.

They are now seeking a Social Media Assistant to join them on a permanent, full-time basis, working 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The Role

As a Social Media Assistant, you will support the running and management of our client’s social media presence.

Creating content for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, you will develop creative ideas for development of these and other channels. You will undertake metric monitoring and compile performance reports.

Additionally, you will write a regular newsletter that goes out to all drivers and staff, proofread copy and monitor the PA diary.

About You

To be considered as a Social Media Assistant, you will need:

- Experience in providing high-quality content for social media channels and managing follower interactions
- Strong visual and editing skills for video and still content
- First-class social media and writing skills
- An eye for a story and how to shape it for different platforms
- The ability to build contacts and interact well with all leads

Experience in PR or journalism would be advantageous.
