What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting managers in the provision of a high-quality financial management service, including providing information and advice, and analysis to all levels of the business, including responding to urgent requests for detailed, confidential financial information and advice
  • Working under your own initiative with minimal supervision to carry-out your main duties and responsibilities
  • Assisting in the development of management accounting systems; processes and procedures to ensure optimum use of resources
  • Supporting in the monthly production of accurate and timely management account reports to senior management, including providing interpretations and detailed analysis
  • Proactively liaising with other members of the business to ensure financial information and advice provided is consistent with accounting standards and policies
  • Working to a set Finance Reporting timetable for monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring all revenue and cost is recognised in the applicable reporting month or fiscal year
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous experience within the finance/accounting sector, including qualifications to support this e.g. Degree level, CIMA, ACA
  • An understanding of management accounts, debits, and credits, both external and intercompany. Experience with purchase ledgers is ideal but not essential
  • Someone with good time management and organisational skills
  • You’ll have strong problem-solving abilities and be able to facilitate discussions and outcomes
  • An excellent communicator with strong presentation, numeracy, and written skills
Salary: £40,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.30
