The Company – Marketing Manager

Our client is a very exciting powerhouse in a niche software sector, providing solutions to the biotechnology, medical and pharmaceutical arenas. They’re seeking 2 experienced marketing managers to join the growing team in these brand-new positions, working alongside a content marketing manager, online marketing specialist, events manager and head of strategic marketing (based in North America)!

They’re going through a period of real expansion globally and have doubled their headcount in the last couple of years, predicted to continue this way in the future! They have a lovely company culture with a real family feel and approachable nature across all levels.

The Role – Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, one marketing manager will focus on the software division whilst the other marketing manager will focus on contract research services. You’ll be responsible for the implementation of the strategy that is already set across broad marketing campaigns (lead generation & brand awareness) with a focus on SEO & analytics, ensuring that the content going out benefits them as a business.

This is very much a tactical position, rather than strategic you will be coordinating the production of the content, reviewing and editing content prior to publication, prepare text and graphic content which includes using design tools – this is perfect for someone who really wants to get stuck into the role.

Requirements – Marketing Manager

  • A minimum of 5 years B2B marketing experience, ideally from software, biotech, pharma or life sciences sectors would be beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Proven experience running marketing campaigns
  • A problem solver who is comfortable managing multiple projects
  • Analytical mindset, able to interpret data for improved content performance
  • Experience in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop desirable

This position is hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office. Suitable commutable locations include Royston, Baldock, Bassingbourn, Melbourn, Buntingford, Rushden, Letchworth Garden City, Biggleswade, Duxford, Hitchin, Cambridge, Sawston, Sandy, and Saffron Walden.
