The Junior Sales & Marketing Assistant Opportunity:

We are now hiring for a Junior Sales & Marketing Assistant who will be producing quotes and sourcing suppliers, looking for the best prices, ensuring the correct goods are being sent, negotiating with suppliers and passing on the best prices to customers to win the deal.

You’ll be

+ answering inbound telephones, taking messages and forwarding them to the relevant team.
+ speaking to potential customers and building business relationships with clients.
+ closing sales; liaising with the customer and giving them delivery and tracking updates etc.
+ checking Customer Purchase orders before they are forwarded to Purchasing. Accurately entering details into our system and thoroughly checking orders before they are sent to the supplier to ensure there are no discrepancies.
+ assisting the inventory team and becoming familiar with the various products we supply.
+ thoroughly checking orders once they are received from the supplier and scanning and preparing for packing to ensure that the correct items are being dispatched to customers.
+ dealing with after sales queries on the items sold, including warranties, damaged goods and liaising with the customer and supplier on replacements.
+ updating the Stock list on the system and on various marketing portals.
+ mainly dealing with EMC / Dell, Cisco & HP products.

About You:

+ You will be fluent in English and be able to communicate with Customers and Suppliers over the phone and by email, making decisions leading to sales.
+ A good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
+ Technical knowledge in IT storage and general sales preferred, although full training is provided.
+ The ideal candidate needs to be able to work with the team and also unsupervised from time to time.
