In this hybrid and flexible role, you will have the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site, providing assessments and support to learners pursuing NVQ qualifications in health and social care. Your expertise and guidance will be instrumental in helping learners achieve their goals and enhance their professional skills.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and observations of learners in the workplace, ensuring compliance with NVQ standards and assessment criteria.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to learners, identifying areas for improvement and supporting their professional development.
  • Collaborate with learner`s employers and mentors to ensure a holistic and comprehensive approach to assessment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, learner progress, and achievements.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry standards and assessment guidelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality training and assessment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a relevant NVQ Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, or equivalent).
  • Have a solid background and experience in the health and social care sector.
  • Possess excellent knowledge of NVQ standards and assessment processes.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and motivate learners.
  • Exhibit exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, ensuring efficient assessment scheduling and documentation.
  • Display a commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
