Your new companyHays Education are working with a successful secondary academy in the heart of Sheffield to recruit a part time teacher of PE and Health & Social Care. Working towards positive educational outcomes for all students, from KS3 to KS5, the school sees continuous success with their examination results. The school has recently joined a new collaborative multi-academy trust who are making headway for all their schools.Your new roleAs a PE teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and motivate students of all abilities and backgrounds. You will be working across the whole school, supporting in Health & Social Care alongside your main PE responsibilities. Part of your role will involve practical lessons and the delivery of these to both GCSE and Alevel students, therefore, experience of both would be advantageous. You will also potentially be involved in extracurricular activities, such as coaching sports teams, organising tournaments, and leading fitness clubs.What you'll need to succeedTo be eligible for this position, you must have:

• A relevant degree in physical education, sports science, or a related field
• A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
• A valid enhanced DBS check
• A proven track record of teaching PE at secondary level
• A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
