  • Salary: up to £32.5k + monthly commission bonus scheme
  • Working Hours: 9am – 5.30pm
  • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

The Role
  • Seek, develop and secure new opportunities by cold calling and developing relationships.
  • Role will involve telesales, face to face selling (B2B), Negotiations and presentations. Grow the gross profit and achieve the which are set out in the Sales Account manager scheme.
  • Provide customers with live market quotations.
  • Providing an excellent level of customer service
  • Identify and monitor key performance and financial indicators for principal clients
  • Manage your client’s shipment operation from start to finish.
  • Maintain service expectations of existing accounts
  • Select appropriate carrier/ haulier as to maximise profits
  • Integrate new business into our service network
  • Work closely with Internal teams (notably accounts, customs and transport) so as to ensure the seamless movement of cargo from origin to destination
  • Arrange regular client check-ups, via zoom or face to face
  • Generate Financial and Performance Quarterly Reports for Principal Clients
  • Meet monthly targets in line with the Sales account manager scheme to earn bonus.
  • Previous road freight experience - 1 year (minimum)
  • Able to deal with the pressures of cold calling and being accountable for your own workload.
  • As anyone will tell you the best way to forge relationships is through talking – this role has a strong emphasis on both incoming and outgoing phone calls. You will need to be happy having conversations with people daily.
  • Fire in the belly attitude, entrepreneurial character willing to listen and learn from industry experts.
  • Good organisational skills – good multi-tasker
  • Will be able through progression and hard work to offer long term, consultative solutions to customers.
  • Focus will be bringing on local/regional business in London and the South of England.
  • A dynamic individual who will deliver long-term consultative solutions and relationships.
  • Based within the office in Ashford, Middlesex (London Heathrow) with an option to work 2 days at home after passing a probationary review.
  • Must have a UK driving licence.
