Area to be covered: Yorkshire, North East and North WestRemuneration: £40,000 + Up to £20,000 Commission
Benefits: Fully expensed BMS 3 Series Hybrid Car and comprehensive benefitsThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Industrial Signs and Safety will involve:
- Field sales role promoting our clients manufactured extensive range of industrial signs and safety solutions
- Responsible for approx. 50 industrial safety distributors such as Arco, Rubix, Toolstation, Cromwell, Lyreco etc.
- Revenue responsibility for approx. £1.1m (performing above budget expectations)
- 85% account management/ account development role
- 15% new business, on-boarding new resellers
- 50% of your time working from home/ working from the office, 50% on the road
- When on the road approx. one third of your time visiting distributor accounts (quarterly), two thirds visiting their end user customers, typically large manufacturing sites with health & safety requirements
- Stimulating demand for our clients products, increasing product listings within the industrial safety resellers/ distributors, training distributor staff on products
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Industrial Signs and Safety with:
- Ideally 2 years+ field sales experience
- Preferably sold into industrial resellers, distributors, builders merchants or buying groups
- Excellent account management/ relationship building skills
- Any experience of having worked with product managers would be beneficial
- Open on products sold, the more technical the better!
- Sign and safety product experience is not required, full product training provided
- Any prior knowledge of safety products may be beneficial
- Open to backgrounds such as power tools into builders merchants
- Commercially aware
