Hotel Sales Manager
to £45,000 plus benefits incl; Pension, Free food, Employee discount programme on Global Hotels, Onsite Parking and Company events

My client is seeking an experienced sales manager to look after a small family owned group of Hotels, Event Space and Apartments.
You will be responsible for proactively account managing and soliciting new corporate and group related opportunities as well as creating exposure to the local markets. This is an exciting role where the customer account base will include establishing and developing existing and new corporate volume producing accounts as well as a strong focus on local catering and MICE business
Sales Manager responsibilities will include;
- Managing an allocated portfolio of accounts
- Actively search and prospect new accounts
- Follow key sales activities such as site inspection, client appointments, promotions, familiarization and sales trips
- Conduct domestic sales-trips
- Mett & Greet at Corporate events
- To participate in sales trips, sales blitz events, trade shows, workshops, and exhibitions as appropriate both local market & around London area
- Present market research to management
- Attend and present update at weekly sales meetings
Your will also have responsibility for:
- Guest Satisfaction
- Sales Reports & Training
- General department responsibilities and inter departmental communications.
Candidates Must have:
- Approximately 3 years within Hospitality/Hotels and a minimum 2 years of sales within Hotel industry
- Be able to supervise 2 direct reports; Wedding coordinator and an Events coordinator
- Previous experience of working in a 4 star establishment
- Proven track record of sales
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of Sales/Marketing/Hospitality
