Reports to: The Chairman

Hours: 37.5 per week (on an annualised hours basis)

Location: 78 London Road Leicester LE2 0RA

Salary:£38,000 plus bonus

Major Job Objective: To maximise the sales & profitability of the above Company.

• To develop & maximise the sales & the subsequent profitability to meet agreed sales targets.
• To operate a detailed prospect list, which is constantly reviewed and updated.
• To attend Networking Events to raise the profile of Devonshire Place in the business community
• The Sales & Marketing Manager will develop a detailed marketing plan to develop all aspects of the businesses.
• To visit and/or entertain prospective clients at theirs or our premises.
• To develop solid relationships with all existing & new clients to ensure that our venue is their first choice for all events such as Meetings, AGM’s, Weddings, Banqueting, Conference & Training facilities etc.
• To plan all Devonshire Place functions in close liaison with clients and the Operations Manager.
• The Sales & Marketing Manager will plan together with the Clients and be present at, and oversee/manage some weddings.

Sales & Marketing Manager - To develop all aspects of the business’s marketing in terms of:

• Web site
• Social Media - Facebook - X (Twitter )- Instagram
• Press & Magazine Advertising
• Radio Advertising
• Public Relations
• Company corporate identity

Any other reasonable task as request by the Directors of Devonshire Place (Leicester) Ltd & Freemasons’ Hall (Leicester) Ltd.
