We have an exciting position for an Area Sales Manager (B2B) to join a well-accomplished sales team, with over a decade of experience. As Area Sales Manager for one of the largest manufacturers of e-liquids, with direct supply to larger grocers and discount retailers in the UK this territory, (M4 Corridor into London) you will report directly to the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities: Area Sales Manager

  • Managing and developing the existing account base whilst actively seeking to develop new business across your territory
  • Promote the Company’s brand, product, and quality when liaising with potential and exciting customers, explaining the benefits of the product, and educating customers
  • Be a self-motivator and sales driven with the desire to meet and exceed targets, increase sales, and deliver growth across your base
  • Able to adapt your approach to customers to offer bespoke services to a varied account base, convenience, independent, multi-chain, forecourts, and stores as examples
  • Utilise the Head Office internal sales team to continue to service existing customers for regular orders, increasing the opportunity for the Area Sales Manager to follow up on new business leads and account acquisition
  • Take part in arranged conference calls and head office meetings

Experience & Expertise: Area Sales Manager

  • B2B, Field Sales, Territory Manager, or Sales experience
  • Ideally, live central to this territory and have a strong FMCG territory sales background
  • Experience in selling e-liquid products is highly desirable but not essential
  • A successful track record of meeting sales targets
  • New business driven
  • Excellent communication skills when working with both colleagues and customers
  • Ability to seek out and maximise new business opportunities
  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Methodical approach with a great level of accuracy
  • Managing a new business from initial contact through to completion
  • Able to manage your own diary and be able to work autonomously and on your own initiative developing sales strategies and hitting sales targets
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
