Sales Manager
We are recruiting for a Sales Manager to join our Sutton Coldfield based client. The business specialise in the design and production of innovative vehicle safety and security products. Their products range from cameras and digital video recorders through to reverse parking solutions and their customers range from individuals and small businesses through to extensive fleet work. They are a rapidly growing business and your role will be to lead the internal sales team and developing your own portfolio of clients.
As a Sales Manager you will need to have/be:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Excellent time management skills to maximise
- Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
- Experience in customer relationship management

- Good IT skills (able to use various software packages and spreadsheets)
Details:
- Salary: up to £35, 000 plus a bonus package
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
- Location: Sutton Coldfield
- Duration: Permanent
Role of Sales Manager:
- Setting individual targets for the sales team
- Tracking sales leads and reporting results as necessary
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team
- Coordinating with marketing on lead production
- The ongoing training of the sales department
- Development of the sales team and their product knowledge
- Promoting the organisation and their products
- Understanding of the customer base and how they relate to the products
- Processing and scheduling of customer orders efficiently
- Raising sales orders ensuring accuracy
- Create dispatch labels for outgoing goods
- Answering sales/enquiry calls
- Processing forecasted orders onto the order system to provide visibility to supply/purchasing department
- Liaise with purchasing in relation to stock
- Responding to email enquires
- Building relationships with customers
- Liaising with customers to update on delays/shortages/delivery dates
- Management of Key Accounts
- Arranging and attending regular progress meetings with key accounts
- Providing quotes for any new opportunities
- Providing progress reports and feedback to senior management
- Working towards implementation and development of KPI's and SLA's within the department
