My client, a prominent importer and distributor of specialty chemicals and additives is on the lookout for a dynamic and knowledgeable Product Manager, ready to make their mark in the General Chemicals distribution industry by driving sales and fostering strong customer connections.Please note that previous experience in the chemicals sector is required.
The Role:
- The Product Manager, your role is diverse and exciting. You'll be the driving force behind building and nurturing customer relationships, proactively engaging with clients, and efficiently resolving their queries and concerns.
- Your responsibilities also include optimising sales and transactions. This means considering factors like group efficiency, tax advantages, currency dynamics, and logistics to ensure operations run smoothly and effectively.
- In the financial realm, you'll be meticulously analysing actual sales, margins, and profitability. Your role also involves providing accurate budget and forecast information, helping to keep the financial strategies on point.
- You'll take charge of inventory management, making sure it meets established benchmarks and keeps our operations running smoothly.
- Communication is at the heart of what you do. You'll actively share and analyse information within the product group.
- You will deliver timely and exceptional reports, covering sales and summaries of principal visits, along with comprehensive competitor analyses.
- Facilitating the exchange of vital information within the industry group is key. You'll do this through regular meetings and keeping detailed records of our discussions and decisions.
- Lastly, you'll oversee relationships with both current and potential principals, aligning these partnerships with our company's strategic goals. It's a role that combines innovation, strategy, and building lasting connections with a robust emphasis on sales.
