My Cheltenham based renewables energy client are looking for an Account Manager to further develop their Business in Belgium as they grow and develop in this country.

Do you have previous sales/account management experience within the renewables industry?

Are you a Flemish speaker?

Can you travel to Belgium 2 days per week?


• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers across Europe.• Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.• Develop account plans and strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.• Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads to expand the company's customer base.• Maintains CRM/Sales tracker analyse and identify trends and sales patterns.• Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions and tailor offerings to customer requirements.• Present product demonstrations and proposals to customers, addressing their specific energy storage needs.• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including renewable energy project developers, utilities, and government agencies.• Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing initiatives, drive sales growth, and increase brand awareness.• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships and identify partnership opportunities.

Required Skills and Attributes:

• Proven track record of at least 2 years in sales or business development and ideally 6 months within the renewable energy sector.• Preferable In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, particularly energy storage systems, and their applications.• Fluent in English and Flemish; French and other EU languages advantageous.• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and meet sales targets.• Competent in Word, Excel and Outlook• Proactive and self-driven• Organised with ability to work independently, or when required, as part of a team• Negotiation skills• Reporting skills• Ability to deliver under pressure• Desire to learn and grow
