Telesales Sales Executive

We’ve reached 'critical mass’ with our small and incredibly motivated admin and support team and are now ready to offer an exciting opportunity to an experienced, ambitious, hardworking, and enthusiastic Telesales Sales Executive to help get our sales drive and engagement to the next level.
We’re still building our outbound sales and marketing team, so this is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional to really make his or her mark within a progressive company with masses of room for growth. You will initially report directly to the CEO, but this will change as the business and department grows.
The Right Candidate
You have already been a 'star performer’ in an outbound call centre, generating leads, and either closing sales over the phone from street canvassers and/or marketing campaigns or cold calling to create opportunities for sales staff to follow up using emails, direct mail, or other means. You can evidence the results you’ve achieved, and you understand how important it is to keep the sales and new business pipeline rammed.
You have probably worked within a similar 'intangibles’ environment (such as education, training, insurance, and investments, for example) in the past, have excellent organisational skills and can both evidence and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines successfully.
You must have outstanding communication skills and will be able to quickly build rapport with existing clients and potential clients, upselling and cross-selling at every opportunity, and with both internal and external stakeholders. You are dynamic, have a clear desire and determination to succeed, and are prepared to 'go the extra mile’ to get the job done to an excellent standard.
You need good record keeping and Excel skills, and can create, review, and analyse sales and marketing data. Notwithstanding all the above, you must be able to pick up the phone at any time and draw new business prospects in with the clear aim of getting them on board by persuading them of the value of our products and services, and able to make direct favourable comparisons with competitor offerings.

We’re offering a competitive starting salary of £20 - 23k depending on experience.
