We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to create our clients future sales strategy, lead their sales team, drive revenue growth, and continue their tradition of excellence in the car industry.

The role will be very focused on building networks and creating new ways for the business to go to market via networking and promotional events so some experience of attending events would be advantageous.

As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, developing sales strategies, and fostering strong client relationships. You will play a pivotal role in achieving our sales targets and ensuring that our classic car auctions continue to set industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Sales Strategy: Create, develop, and execute sales strategies to increase market share, attract buyers, and grow revenue.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with collectors, consignors, and buyers, providing excellent customer service and personalized attention.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Auction Participation: Collaborate with the auction team to ensure seamless coordination between sales and auction events.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the executive team, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in auctioneering or automitive leadership roles, preferably within the luxury car sector.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • Passion for cars or motorbikes.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding targets.
