Pertemps are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Retail Analyst to join our clients head office team in Plymouth. As a Retail Analyst, you will be an innovative, creative and proactive problem solver who will assist in developing, implementing and maintaining strategies to meet agreed company objectives.Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pmTemporary to PermanentCompetitive SalaryKey Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the successful roll out of store optimisation changes and initiatives
  • Provide data driven recommendations on best and poor performing products
  • Feedback meaningful analysis to senior management, recommending appropriate actions, with the aim of enhancing profitability
  • Working with the buying, supply chain and retail teams to prioritise requirements
  • Weekly reporting on KPIs across your responsible area and ensure timely reporting to senior management
  • Assist other departments with data requests and analytical support
  • Ensure store turnover, profit and margin is on target vs company objectives
  • Assist others in the validation of company wide project proposals and business cases which involve capital or other significant expenditure
Knowledge and SkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel)Experience in retail or merchandising analytics is a plus.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.A passion for retail and a deep understanding of consumer behaviour.Please APPLY today to avoid missing out! or contact Chelsea Walker in the Pertemps Plymouth office.
