Mapped Recruitment is partnering with an SME muti-channel retail business with a global stocklist on their search for a Financial Controller to join the team on a permanent basis

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Managing Director, supervising one finance assistant
• Own the full cycle general ledger accounting process for all divisions.
• Management Accounts - Prepayments, accruals, maintenance of fixed asset register
• Manage balance sheet and P&L, variance analysis
• Financial Accounting and reporting
• Financial Planning and Analysis
• Main point of contact for external auditors

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role (ability to work in a No1 in a finance role for an SME retail brand)
• Xero experience (Shopify will be advantageous)
• Qualified Accountant/Equivalent accountancy degree or experience
• Experience within a stock-related business will be highly advantageous - e-commerce and wholesale
