Join a start-up on a mission to change fiction publishing. We’re looking for a smart, data-driven marketer to connect our authors and their books with readers worldwide.
You will bring a data-driven, commercial approach to marketing paired with creativity. We’re looking for a forward-thinking individual who will thrive in a start-up environment, working closely with our Managing Director to establish the systems and direction for our marketing.

- Expertise in email marketing.
You will create and manage effective paid ad campaigns for our titles, focusing on Facebook and Amazon advertising. You will ensure campaigns meet agreed ROI objectives and report results to the team.
You will create and manage email lists for each of our authors and deliver marketing emails designed to generate sales of new releases and price-promoted titles.
Search and paid search
You will ensure that Storm features prominently in relevant search results through organic search and PPC campaigns to drive lead generation.
You will manage the Storm Publishing website, built in WordPress. This includes producing and publishing content and landing pages, optimising for search, cookie management, GDPR compliance, and using Google Analytics to track goal conversion.
You will oversee our in-book advertising to retain readers, ensuring ads are placed effectively in all our books and that ebook links are tracked.
You will manage freelance publicity roles, focusing on delivering reviews for our authors and high levels of social media engagement with readers.
You will track the relevant data to ensure our marketing is as efficient and effective as possible. This will include managing ad data, affiliate accounts, sales data, and link-tracking software. You will be comfortable analysing data and using reporting software to visualise results for our team and authors.

These projects may be either individual or as part of a small team and will not necessarily be directly related to your role. You will contribute your views and input collaboratively and constructively and deliver high-quality recommendations or outcomes.
