A mission you can be proud of

At NHS Blood & Transplant, we couldn’t be more proud of the talented people who come together every day to make this organisation the very best it can be. And we’re always looking for new people to join them – from a much wider range of backgrounds than you might think. Right now, we’re recruiting a Marketing & Telesales Manager to contribute to our vital work.

About the role

In this crucial role, you’ll lead and develop the marketing and sales of our Tissue and Eye Services (TES). We recover and supply human tissue grafts for use in surgery, and you’ll play your part in helping thousands of patients across the UK live better lives.

As Marketing and Telesales Manager, you’ll bring effective promotional strategies and campaigns to the table, boosting sales in an expanding sector. You’ll also help grow our team and develop our ways of working to improve productivity.

Aside from the strategic elements of the role, you’ll liaise with prospective clients, provide complex forecasting data to the service and act as a point of escalation when highly sensitive issues or complaints arise.

About you

You’ll have a solid track record managing a marketing team in a fast-moving commercial environment. This includes using advanced CRM skills, managing budgets, implementing HR policies and designing training.

Skills-wise, you’ll be an excellent leader and communicator, able to motivate team members and deal with senior stakeholders. We’re also looking for candidates who can make tough decisions and successfully implement change across a department. As well as being highly analytical, you’ll be an effective administrator, planner and project manager.

You’ll need a relevant degree as well as a post-graduate qualification in management (or the equivalent experience).

About us

There is so much to be said about the job satisfaction that our team members get from their work. With us, you’ll be at the heart of an organisation that’s saving and transforming countless lives every day.

At NHSBT, we also value the immense knowledge that our highly skilled team brings to our work. We’ll invest heavily in your personal and professional needs, from progressive training and development opportunities through to competitive pension schemes and generous annual leave allowance. It’s about making sure every NHSBT employee is truly happy in their work. Join us, experience a great work-life balance and a sense of achievement that can’t be found anywhere else.
