Grade B: £37,694 (National Framework) or £42,863 (London Framework – if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £529 per annum for those working from home.

The role will support the development and delivery of the communications and engagement to support CQC’s transformation programme and the effective delivery of our new strategy. You will ensure coordination of internal and external engagement activity and messaging across all programmes and projects within the transformation portfolio.
As part of the job you will create, deliver and monitor engagement plans, building and maintaining relationships to ensure the success of any communications and engagement activity.

What you will bring…
We are looking for an experienced and confident communications professional with a track record of producing high-quality content across a variety of media and a clear understanding of strategic communications. The successful candidate will be experienced in writing, editing and narrative development, and will use evaluation to refine and improve their work, and the work of the team.
You will be comfortable developing robust engagement plans and advising and influencing senior colleagues, offering constructive challenge where necessary. You will need to be adept at building new relationships quickly, across a number of teams and directorates at CQC.
You’ll show initiative, managing and leading on pieces of work where necessary and be confident at identifying areas to strengthen and improve how we operate as a team and an organisation.
