Job Description

PR & Communications Executive - Based in Ascot (hybrid – 2 days in the office once fully trained) – Perm - £32-35K

We have a new exciting opportunity for an experienced PR & Communications Executive to join a global lifestyle brand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact and representative for PR communication for the UK business
  • Manage external PR Agencies for press announcements
  • Create and provide reports on PR tasks
  • Project lead any PR events or product launch events
  • To look after PR budget with support from Customer Marketing Manager
  • Project and forecast plans for the strategy plan
  • Prepare, create, and finalise any newsletter content ready to be sent to customers
  • Maintain relations with existing influencers and PR Agencies whilst reaching out to new influencers and Agencies
  • Complete contracts and negotiations with influencers and PR Agencies

Social Media

  • Develop content and calendar for Customer Social Media channels
  • Manage Social Media agency day to day
  • Provide the Social Media agency with all information, materials and content that is needed to support the Marketing calendar
  • Raise brand awareness, sales and recruitment through the main channels, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter
  • Work towards opening channels of Pinterest & Linkedin supporting the correct channels
  • Work towards a library of content assets for the following: Product, recipes, campaign’s, recruitment, promotions, retail

Know-How, Technical Skills and Experience

  • 2 + years experience within PR or Comms
  • Managing and coordinating campaigns and projects
  • Experience in working in a corporate environment
  • Experience writing effective press releases
  • Agency management experience
  • Background and experience in contract negotiations
  • Experience in managing a budget
  • Previous experience in copywriting
  • Community, social media, and project management experience
  • Ideally proficient in Adobe Creative suite, including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro
  • Knowledge and history of creative content creation
  • Strategy alignment for boosting company profile within the UK
  • A full understanding of relevant trends
  • Have a hands-on approach to events, photography etc.
