Salary: Circa £18,000 per annum
Fully funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

Our client is a leading regeneration charity, working through partnership to create communities in which people are proud to live and work.

Reaching Out Across Durham (ROAD) is an exciting employment Programme in County Durham jointly funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund. Working in Partnership with 7 voluntary and community sector delivery Partners who are specialists in employment, financial and digital inclusion and volunteering, ROAD supports long-term unemployed people into or towards employment.

About the role

They are looking to recruit someone who will work as a member of a dedicated Partnership team who will be responsible for comprehensive administrative duties to support the ongoing requirements of the Programme. This will include assisting the Programme Finance & Marketing Officer with the collation, processing and checking of financial and delivery documentation from across the Partnership, including manual and electronic methods to ensure compliance with both organisational and the programme funder’s standards.

You will be responsible for a range of administrative and financial tasks, and be required to work proactively with external project Partners, ensuring achievement of business deadlines and a high level of accuracy and quality.

This role is subject to a Basic Check through Disclosure Scotland

About you

They want someone like you who has experience of providing an administrative service in a business environment and managing a varied workload of administrative and financial tasks prioritising to meet target deadlines. Proven experience of using software packages, and effective use of internet and email is essential. Your role will require you to have excellent organisational skills to enable the provision of an effective and efficient administration service.
